The XENO+ ML SOM module is offered with following 2 variants of wireless connectivity in same PCB foot-print pin mappings:
- WiFi b/g/n and BLE5.0 connectivity modem with LR, 2M PHY and Extended advertising in single antenna for both WiFi and BLE.
- LoRa connectivity modem that is designed to LoRaWAN Class A/B/C protocol and 868/915 MHz frequency band, including EU868/US915/AU915/ AS923/KR920/IN865. The LoRa modem uses multi-mode high-performance SX126X chip that supports GFSK/FSK mode and LoRa mode. In LoRa mode, 62.5 kHz, 125 kHz, 250 kHz and 500 kHz bandwidth can be used
The common PCB foot-print pin mapping across above two XENO+ ML SOM modules brings HW and SW compatibility amoing those two connectivity variant devices.
The module has the smallest possible size with secure IoT MCU of Nuvoton ARM Cortex-M23 Trust Zone series MCU @ 96MHz, 1MB Flash, 256KB SRAM, UART/SPI/I2C ports and GPIOs. This module has 3 pin SWD pins for SW development and SW debug via Eclipse/KEIL IDE for Embedded SW development for the device by the users.
